Our Officers

The current local League was established in 1982, joining the then Kingsport League as part of a regional League of Women Voters of Northeast Tennessee. This League later adopted the name LWV of Watauga Region. The Watauga League, serving Carter, Johnson, Unicoi, and Washington counties, has been autonomous since 1995. In 2006, the name was changed to League of Women Voters of Northeast Tennessee (LWV NE TN) to better reflect our regional focus.
